NEW IWB HOLSTER
Bought a new IWB holster while home, a Comp-tac M-TAC. Holster looks fugly, leather backing with kydex holster attached. As its not supposed to be seen anyhow, I guess looks don't matter. What is a fact is this is the most comfortable IWB holster I've ever worn. Mine is for the glock 23, but they make the things for most any auto. If you're having trouble finding an IWB rig that works for you I strongly recommend trying a M-TAC. The leather backing bends and fits well against the body. The weapon is retained 100% reliably. Access is quick and reliable; reholstering takes a bit more effort - I can take my time reholstering a gun - getting it out in a hurry is more of a priority for me. I bought mine at Collectors Firearms for $90.00; they probably are $10-$15 cheaper elsewhere. Think I'm going to have to buy another for my Colt Commander.

I have a friend that swears by this holster. He buys all of his guns used and only if he gets a great deal. Says that he won't buy a holster that costs as much as the gun and feels that whatever holster he DOES buy should fit just as good as an expensive custom holster.
The M-Tac seems to fill this niche very nicely I guess. |

The M-Tac is a very nice, upgraded copy of the original Super Tuck Deluxe holster from CrossBreed holsters. The CrossBreed is even more spartan than the M-Tac. I've been using and swearing by the CrossBreed Super Tuck for a couple years now, its amazing that someone didn't think of this concept long ago.
If I had to do it again, I'd probably buy the m-tac minotaur holster as its detailed a bit nicer. Same function, slightly higher cost. There is also a cheaper knock-off of the CrossBreed called the K-Holster. Its basically a big leather circle with holes punched in it and a half of a kydex holster screwed through holes. There are lots of extra holes that allow you to move/adjust the holster. Most people who buy the K-Holster seem to trim away some of the excess leather rather than having a piece of leather the size of a dinner plate strapped to their side.
